Markets: up!

Chinese economy slows to 7.5% growth

Nissan resurrects Datsun brand for emerging market tour
Nissan is bringing its Datsun car brand back from the dead after more than 30 years of absence, resurrecting the marque as an emerging market specialist to fill a conspicuous hole in its global product offerings.

Asian markets rise as China GDP meets forecasts
Asian markets rose after China's second-quarter growth data met official forecasts. The world's second-largest economy expanded by 7.5 per cent in the second quarter, confirming that the slowdown in growth to 7.7 per cent in the three months to April wasn't temporary.
