Obama to seek Congress approval for strikes on Syria
 
Barack Obama says he had decided that the US should take military action against in response to the chemical attack on citizens in Syria, which the administration has blamed on Bashar al-Assad.
But in a bold and risky move, he said that he would first seek approval from Congress when it comes back into session on September 9.
