Growth in advanced economies 'encouraging', OECD says

Advanced economies can expect to grow at the stronger rates of the second quarter for the rest of the year, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development said in the latest update to its forecasts.
The OECD noted the better economic data in many advanced economies and said growth was "proceeding at encouraging rates in North America, Japan and the UK" and the eurozone was "out of recession, although output remains weak in a number of economies".
