US adds 204,000 jobs in October
 
The US economy created 204,000 jobs last month and the unemployment rate climbed to 7.3 per cent from 7.2 per cent.

Economists had expected the world's largest economy would create 120,000 jobs, down from 148,000 in September. The six-month average for job growth is now running at about 163,000.
